At Kett’s Books we sell new books for everyone. Our customers particularly enjoy a good range of Fiction, Crime, Natural History, and children’s books.
We know that the number of books can be intimidating. If you want any help choosing a book for yourself or someone else, our friendly team would love to help advise. We’ll ask you questions and work with you to come up with just the right read.

Subscriptions. If you’re open to something new, you might want to try our Subscription boxes. When you sign up to either Fiction or go for a mixture of good reads, we’ll send you a surprise book every month, beautifully wrapped, with notes about why we think you’ll enjoy it.
Bookshop.org. We want you to come in and see us, and let us be excited with you about the books you discover. And we want our website to be about the books, so we offer a lot of links to find out more.
When you click on one of the books featured on our website or emails, though, the link will take you to a webpage called Bookshop.org. These are the good guys of internet book buying – they were formed specifically to give independent bookshops a share in the profit that the online book trade is generating. When you buy through the links here on our site, we get a healthy return on that purchase – and even better, every single independent bookshop in the country shares from the profit. So for now we don’t do our online selling – we stick to what we’re good at, and let them get the book directly to you.
