In early 2025, Ainsley released her much-anticipated third studio album, FABLE, produced by Sam Kelly. Drawing inspiration from Scottish folklore and myth, Fable combines Gaelic, Scots, and original compositions with a rich tapestry of sounds from musicians Alistair Iain Paterson, Toby Shaer, Signy Jakobsdottir and Euan Burton. Recorded in Glasgow, the album delves into the legends and landscapes of Scotland, with each track weaving a narrative that resonates with ancient stories and contemporary relevance.
Joining her for this evening is Toby Shaer, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer from Essex, UK. Over the past decade, he has established himself as one of the most sought-after musicians in the UK folk and roots music scene. Renowned for his virtuosity across a wide range of instruments, Toby is equally respected for his versatility, creativity, and deep understanding of music, enabling him to move seamlessly between genres and collaborate with artists from around the world.
